Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is an evidence-based, leading treatment for insomnia, and trainees will have the opportunity to learn and deliver CBT-I, receive weekly clinical supervision, and participate in behavioral sleep medicine trainings.

Motivational interviewing is a person-centered counseling strategy designed to help individuals make a behavior change. Dr. Park and Millstein has an extensive portfolio of research integrating motivational interventions into clinical care settings and externally funded clinical research. They are both certified motivational interviewing trainers and have taught motivational interviewing to clinicians and clinical researchers nationally. The motivational interviewing training includes interactive and didactic exercises, specific to clinical populations requested.
