Congratulations to HPRIR faculty member, Efren Flores, MD, on his selection to the Council of Medical Specialty Services (CMSS)-National Academy of Medicine (NAM)-World Health Organization (WHO) Advisory Board.
This distinguished and diverse group of experts will guide the development of a globally relevant, expanded set of principles applicable to potential sources of credible information. With this initiative, they will build upon the earlier work of NAM in phase 1, which produced a discussion paper entitled “Identifying Credible Sources of Health Information in Social Media: Principles and Attributes.” An overview of phase 2 is available here: Overview.
